Our story and design philosophy

Inspired by nature. Driven by purpose.

Cassora is inspired by the iconic cassowary bird and the Latin word aura, meaning air, atmosphere, and by extension, our climate. The cassowary’s casque helps the bird move through dense rainforest and shed heat. In the same way, Cassora helps councils navigate climate reporting and adapt to a changing climate.

The cassowary is strong and resilient, yet vulnerable to climate change. This mirrors our wider challenge of protecting nature while building resilience to climate change. Cassora supports this by helping organisations manage and act on their climate data, enabling clearer reporting, stronger decisions, and more effective action.
